A native Montanan, Alissa Abentroth, MD earned her Medical Degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at St. Raphaels Hospital, which is affiliated with the University of Connecticut and Yale University. Dr. Abentroth attended Carroll College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Zoology. She has participated in medical missions in Haiti, Guatemala, Kenya and Northern Ireland. Dr. Abentroth is Board Certified in General Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She belongs to the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She has practiced in Helena since 2011.

Andrea Mow, D.O. earned her Medical Degree with honors from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in General Psychiatry at New York Medical College, where she served as Chief Resident. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Equestrian Studies from Rocky Mountain College and Biology from the University of Rhode Island, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She grew up in Miles City and graduated from Helena’s Capital High School.

Radiation Oncologist Andrew Cupino, MD came to Helena from the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Va., where he completed his Radiation Oncology Residency. Dr. Cupino earned his Medical Degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa., and Bachelor of Science degrees in Bioengineering and Mathematics from Walla Walla College in College Place, Wash. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.

Andrew Gilbert, MD came to Helena from St. Mary's Hospital in Cottonwood, Idaho, where he had been practicing Family Medicine for five years. Dr. Gilbert earned his Medical Degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2003 and completed his residency at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in 2006. He attended Carroll College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He and his wife Katie (formerly McCarvel) both returned home to Montana along with their two sons John and Matt. Dr. Gilbert's interests in medicine include the full spectrum of family medicine including pediatrics, adult medicine, and sports medicine.

Anita Lowe Taylor, MD earned her Doctorate of Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine in Stanford, Calif. and her Bachelor of Art in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo. Dr. Lowe Taylor completed her medical internship at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco before returning to Stanford to complete her residency.

Beth “Betty” Plate, MD practices at the St. Peter’s Medical Group-Broadway Clinic with a specialty in family medicine and obstetrics. Services she provides include OB care and issues relating to women’s health. Prior to joining St. Peter’s Hospital, Dr. Plate completed her medical residency from the University of New Mexico Family and Community Medicine in Albuquerque, N.M. Calvin Schlepp, MD is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and other musculoskeletal conditions. He completed subspecialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Taos Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Schlepp has specialized training in sports medicine and arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee injuries, as well as a particular interest in anterior total hip replacement and partial knee replacement surgery. Christopher Stewart, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon with specific training in breast reconstruction and augmentation and craniomaxillofacial trauma and reconstruction. Dr. Stewart’s work and research have been published in multiple journals and books, and he is a frequent presenter and guest lecturer. Dr. Stewart earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Diane Nowak, MD a Montana native, moved to Helena from Oregon where she served as a primary care physician. Jeffrey Dickson, DO received his medical degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Ariz., and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Specializing in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Dickson treats conditions including fractures, sports injuries and arthritis. He performs procedures including total knee replacement and hip replacement with the direct anterior approach, as well as both standard and reverse total shoulder replacement.

Jessica Bailey, MD has been a family physician serving the Helena community since 2005. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology with highest distinction and her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her internship and residency at the Montana Family Medicine Residency in Billings where she served as chief resident her final year. In recent years she has also focused on end of life issues and is currently serving as medical director for St. Peter's Hospice and Palliative Care programs. Dr. Michelotti brings his love of sports to his practice of orthopedic sports medicine. He thrives on the care of athletes and people of all ages in a wide variety of sporting and recreational activities. Dr. Michelotti completed advanced fellowship training in sports medicine in Vail, CO where he worked with the Denver Broncos, the Colorado Rockies and the United States Ski Team.

Dr. Lider specializes in caring for a variety of nerve, muscle, bone and joint injuries. Through his intentional listening, careful physical exam and the use of a variety of diagnostic tools, Dr. Lider works with patients to find the root cause of their pain.
