Beth “Betty” Plate, MD practices at the St. Peter’s Medical Group-Broadway Clinic with a specialty in family medicine and obstetrics. Services she provides include OB care and issues relating to women’s health. Prior to joining St. Peter’s Hospital, Dr. Plate completed her medical residency from the University of New Mexico Family and Community Medicine in Albuquerque, N.M. She earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colo. Dr. Plate is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the Montana Medical Association and the Montana Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP).

Kerry Hale, MD, St. Peter's Health Orthopedics

Mark Mozer, MD earned his medical degree and completed a psychiatry residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. A Helena native, he completed his undergraduate degree at Carroll College. Dr. Mozer served as a Major in the United States Air Force, and was chairman of the psychiatry department at Benefis Health Systems in Great Falls before joining St. Peter’s Health. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Catholic Medical Association.

Jessica Bailey, MD has been a family physician serving the Helena community since 2005. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology with highest distinction and her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her internship and residency at the Montana Family Medicine Residency in Billings where she served as chief resident her final year. In recent years she has also focused on end of life issues and is currently serving as medical director for St. Peter's Hospice and Palliative Care programs. When she is not at work she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.

Andrew Gilbert, MD came to Helena from St. Mary's Hospital in Cottonwood, Idaho, where he had been practicing Family Medicine for five years. Dr. Gilbert earned his Medical Degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2003 and completed his residency at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in 2006. He attended Carroll College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He and his wife Katie (formerly McCarvel) both returned home to Montana along with their two sons John and Matt. Dr. Gilbert's interests in medicine include the full spectrum of family medicine including pediatrics, adult medicine, and sports medicine.

Diane Nowak, MD a Montana native, moved to Helena from Oregon where she served as a primary care physician. She also served as the County Health Officer in Baker City, Oregon, and as an independent physician in Yuma, Haxtun, and Fort Collins, CO. Dr. Nowak earned her Medical Degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences at Montana State University. She completed her residency and internship at Fort Collins Family Medicine in Colorado.

Montana native Chelsey Field, DO earned her Medical Degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed a Residency at Montana Family Medicine in Billings. Dr. Field is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Academy and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
